We were honored when Elephant Journal gave us generous room to talk about something we've long held as vital to continued progress on greening up the planet, its people, its businesses and its government - radical collaboration. We aren't just talking about it, but engaging in it, with GenGreen Life, Creative Citizen, and more.
In the 20th century, business was all about competition. Beat your rivals, find that (often meaningless) differentiation, and do all you can to stay ahead of the others. While that of course goes on today, it often does so at the expense of our well-being, and that of our planet’s. The conventional wisdom of competition being good for consumers just doesn’t cut it when it comes to the much-needed advancement of sustainable business, life, and interaction with our planet.
When we as green businesses and non-profits spend our time in isolation, fighting for the relatively small slice of the existing green/environmental minded market and funding pool, we keep staying small—and keep minimizing our impact, split amongst a million tiny fragments.
Learn all about what radical collaboration means to us, and how we plan to give you ways to engage in it yourself!
